SHARK SHOOTOUT: February 1 – 29, 2008
February falls in Palau's annual shark mating season which makes for adrenalin pumping shark dives and lots of great shark photography opportunities at renowned dive sites that include world famous Blue Corner. We celebrate SHARK SHOOTOUT throughout February with educational shark lectures by marine biologists and shark researchers, underwater photography and videography tips from professional photographers and prizes for the best shark pictures!

WRECK EXPEDITION WEEK:

The program includes all the wreck diving you can handle on the ship wrecks and planes of “Operation Desecrate One”, evening slide shows, movies, and historical presentations on the pivotal battles that took place in Palau during WWII. Work Shop Outline:
This field-workshop covers all aspects of the shoot: how to solve technical problems, how to work with subjects, mastering the digital workflow on the road and includes a choice of field trips to Palau's natural wonders for topside shooters or Palau's world famous reefs and walls for those who scuba dive. Evenings consist of informal gatherings including photo critiques and opportunities to share your work and having fun with fellow participants and work shop presenters. Stress is not part of the agenda!
Bring your digital camera(s), a tripod or housing, cables, spare batteries, charger, extra recoding media and the manual for your system.
